We were able to navigate a change of use to convert 55 Christopher Street from office to residential spaces, redoing interiors and stairwells as well as facades–all under stringent landmark restrictions. Our main goal was to infill square footage on the rooftop units, and we were also able to add crawlspaces. Added skylights capture more light and harken back to the heyday of artist lofts in the city.
